Shilo narrowly escaped a euthanasia deadline at our local shelter when he was just 1 year old. Despite a rough start in life, this sweet 1 year-old Rottweiler/Catahoula mix has become a loving, happy, and eager-to-learn companion.

Shilo is crate trained, smart, affectionate, and loves giving hugs. He gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and would thrive in a home with at least one other social dog. He attends doggie daycare, respects other dogs' boundaries, and has no resource guarding issues.

This handsome boy learns quickly, has excellent recall, loves water, and would make a fantastic addition to an active family willing to continue his training. He does well with children 6+ and is mostly potty trained.

After everything he's been through, Shilo deserves a family that will show him the love, stability, and security he's always deserved.
