About:

Hi… I’m Leia, and I could really use a little love right now.

I’m a 6-year-old Lab/Heeler mix, about 80 pounds, with a sleek black coat and a small white patch on my chest. I’ve always been a deeply loved family dog, and I have so much love to give in return.

Right now, my world has changed. My dad, a Clark County School District Police Officer, is very sick in the hospital, and my mom is doing everything she can to care for my two-year-old triplets on her own. Because of this, my family made the incredibly hard decision to ask Las Vegas K9 Crew Rescue to help find me a safe place to stay while they navigate this difficult time.

I’m a loyal, gentle girl who just wants to feel safe and close to my people. This is all new for me, and I’m just hoping for a soft place to land while I wait for my next chapter.
Could your home be my safe place right now?
