This beautiful golden Terripoo has a heart of gold and so much love to give. Honey was found wandering the streets alongside Hershey, and while their past is unknown, it’s clear they’ve both been through a lot together.

Honey is shy and timid at first, but with a little patience and love, she begins to open up and show her true self. Once she feels safe, she becomes a devoted “velcro dog,” forming a deep bond with her person and staying close by your side. She’s incredibly loyal and naturally protective of the one she loves.

As she adjusts to a new environment, Honey may still be a bit scared and is currently decompressing. When overwhelmed, she can go into “fight or flight” mode and may try to escape—but this comes from fear, not who she truly is. The truth is, Honey doesn’t want to be back on the streets again… she just needs reassurance that she’s safe and finally home.

With patience, understanding, and a secure environment, Honey will blossom into an incredibly loving and loyal companion. She’s just waiting for someone to give her the chance she deserves.
